Program Sections
StarFest is a festival filled with unforgettable attractions. We will gradually announce new program highlights and the stars who will appear at the festival.
The full event schedule will be published around October 1st. However, we can already give you a sneak peek of what to expect.
The program will include:
Creator Panels
This section will feature meetings with renowned creators of Polish pop culture, including writers, screenwriters, game designers, actors, musicians, YouTubers, and influencers.
Discussion and Popular Science Lectures
Experts from various fields of culture and science, including those from academic backgrounds, will share their knowledge with participants and encourage further exploration.
Film and TV Series Block
This section will include various film-related lectures and discussions, trivia contests, and meetings with filmmakers. Additionally, there will be late-night movie marathons featuring films inspired by fantasy literature.
Stage Performances
This section will showcase martial arts demonstrations, performances of both traditional and modern dances, juggling and fire shows, anti-terrorist displays, and other unique acts that will captivate the audience. There will also be musical, theatrical, and comedy performances on a stage set up in one of the exhibition halls. The Cosplay competition, where participants will present costumes inspired by fantasy works and reenact scenes from them, will also take place here.
Role-Playing Games Block
Professionals in the field of role-playing games will share their extensive experience through lectures, discussions, and workshops. There will be meetings with game creators and publishers, and participants can play a variety of RPGs throughout the festival.
Contest Block
Fantasy enthusiasts from various fields of expertise will compete to determine the top specialists with the greatest knowledge. Winners will receive material prizes for their achievements.
Star Wars Block
One of the most popular fantasy franchises has a large fan base in Poland as well. Fans of Lucas's works from all over the country will gather for this event. Participants will be able to attend lectures, prize contests, and discussions related to Star Wars, as well as showcase costumes and lightsabers from the films, books, and games within this universe.
Japanese Culture, Manga, and Anime Block
Modern Japanese culture has many passionate fans in Poland. At the festival, they will have the opportunity to participate in discussions, lectures, and contests about Japanese culture, present costumes from the most popular manga and anime, and enjoy music and films from the Land of the Rising Sun.
Card, Board, Computer, and Console Games Block
This block will feature game tournaments with material prizes to be won. Participants will also have the chance to attend showcases of new games and play hundreds of different titles in the Games Room, open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 AM. These titles will include new releases, top productions, exciting proposals, as well as prototypes not yet released to the market. There will also be meetings with publishers and creators of educational games in this block.
Workshop Block
Throughout the festival, various skill-based workshops will take place, focusing on cultural topics. These will include workshops on calligraphy, costume sewing, historical fencing, model building, dancing, and more.
Technology Block
This block will feature exhibits of new technologies from various fields of life. It will take the form of booths showcasing technological innovations, such as 3D technologies, multimedia dioramas, and more.
Exhibitors' Block
At StarFest, over 100 booths from various companies related to fantasy and pop culture will be available, offering collectible items, comics, figurines, board games, and a wide range of gadgets related to favorite fantasy universes. Whether you’re a fan of "Star Wars," "Game of Thrones," "The Hobbit," or "The Avengers," you’re sure to find something that catches your interest.
Children’s Block
This block will offer activities for children attending the festival with adults. There will be educational games and activities, as well as story readings. Additionally, there will be building blocks, balls, crayons, inflatable toys, and many other items that will delight any child.
During the three-day festival, about 400 events dedicated to literature, film, art, games, music, technology, and science will take place.
